First Fridays
Nature Medicine Circles, Social Garden Tending

This land holds us so beautifully on our healing journeys. Whether it is in restful, contemplative communion with the land and the beauty here, cultivating our capacity to see relevant metaphorical truths illuminated by the natural world, developing our grounded presence, or deepening our kinship with the plants, the elements, the wild ones--there is infinite capacity for healing here.

Being so connected to nature supports our capacities to connect, authentically, with humans, too. Deepening social connections, bridging divides, increasing our capacity to listen to and understand others is medicine for community, with all of life.

We invite you into this relationship of dedication to self, to the Earth, to a circle of like-hearted humans. Into a tending relationship with your being, and the body of this sacred, beloved Earth.

Each first Friday of the month we open the Garden to this engagement, in reciprocity with the land. Here is a rough outline of the time together!

1-3 pm: Nature Medicine Circle:

  • 1:00 pm: Arrive. Tea from land. Circle time, intentions for our time together.

  • 1:30pm: Out onto the land, to a special place of your choosing, perhaps one you are in relationship with.

  • 2:15pm: Return to circle, sharing, connecting

3 pm-5pm: Social Garden Tending/hang. Bring gloves, pruners, frisbee, or a musical instrument. Enjoy the beautiful space, the reciprocal tending, the medicine of unwinding and playing.

This is all held by donation. Your donations support keeping this beautiful sanctuary open and tended!
