A Retreat for Physicians
*Postponed*; stay tuned for rescheduled date
Join us for a weekend of restoration and revitalization in the Garden.
Led by physicians Anna O'Malley, Deborah Cohan and Folashade "Flo" Wolfe-Modupe, this retreat offers an exploration of how we source resilience, find personal and professional life balance, and cultivate mutually supportive community.
Through nature immersion, meditation, embodiment practices, facilitated sharing, expressive arts and nourishing food, we will fill our personal and collective wells.
Supported by the beauty and healing found in the natural world, we will unwind our tension, connect with meaning, and perhaps heal some of the wounds we may have experienced in our training and practice. Our intention is to co-create an open-hearted safe space in which to share experience and receive restorative nourishment.
Programming will include early morning sunrise experiences and evening fire circle experiences; staying onsite is encouraged. Meals and onsite camping are included in the price of the retreat; please contact us if you would prefer alternative accommodations.
Our intention is to enroll physicians from a wide array of sociocultural backgrounds, practice settings, and years in practice. In particular, we encourage people of color and LGBTQ to attend.
Retreat check-in begins at 4 pm on Friday, and the retreat begins at 5 pm. We will depart following lunch on Sunday.
$650 (including camping accommodation and meals) covers the costs of offering this retreat.
Early Bird (by March 21): $575
