Commonweal Garden Summer Camp
Join us for the Commonweal Garden Summer Camp in Bolinas. We will harvest food from the garden for cooking projects, go on nature exploration hikes, plant seeds, make compost, build forts, craft our own nature journals, play wildlife tracking and nature connection games and end each day with time for nature based art projects. Our program weaves the gratitude practice with songs, story telling, children’s Qigong and social emotional well-being practices throughout the day.
The program is from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday, for ages 4 to 12.
The cost is $325 per child. We offer a sibling discount of 10% off.
Parents are welcome to pitch a tent and camp out with their children if they wish to stay overnight. The cost to campout is an additional $125 for the week or $30 per night. We will have an informal camp fire and story time each evening from 7:30 to 8:30pm for families camping overnight. Overnight campers may use the greenhouse facilities for cooking dinner and breakfast.
