Come together in community, slow the aging process, heal.

Many of us have "chronic" conditions--high blood pressure, high blood sugar, being overweight, blood vessel disease, lung problems. The good news (and one that we don't always hear from Western medical doctors in short visits) is that there is much that we can do to prevent, slow or even reverse these conditions. In this course we will learn the science about what our bodies need, and put into practice connection with nature, healing foods and plants, and supportive social relationships. We will set and achieve goals in how we feel in our bodies and lives, and watch the numbers improve, too. Extra attention will be paid to supporting ourselves through the Winter season, going inward and tending our needs all through this dark time of the year.

Please plan to attend each of the four sessions.

Offered on a sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds.

* Lunch will include a seasonal Food as Medicine chef demonstration. Please bring something to share sourced from local farms or food system, loaded with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties. (We'll support you in knowing what that is!)
