Afterschool Garden to Table Program
Mondays from 3:30 - 4:45, 8 weeks
led by Megan Szrom and Laura Tamburro
In this class, we will experience the abundance of the land through creating fresh and healthy recipes. Students will gather greens to make pesto, make preserves such as jams and pickles, and make and bake pizza dough in our cob oven. Children will gain an appreciation for seasonal, local food and strengthen their foundation for a lifetime of healthy eating. Students will bring home their own recipe book. Parents are responsible for getting their children to and from class. A carpool is available.
Dates: 2/10, 2/24, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/13
Cost: $170 per student
